Hi there readers, and welcome to my wee collection of musings! My writing takes inspiration from my own personal and professional experience and (I hope!) reflects my enthusiasm for design.
My day job is in architecture and I've been practising in the profession for over 10 years in Melbourne, Adelaide, and London. This career path has exposed me to the processes of some master designers and to the evolution of architecture from daydream to drawing board to delivered building. I have a heritage in design by way of my grandfathers who both had long careers in architecture and fashion respectively.
I write for my own enjoyment and have been fortunate to have had articles commissioned by the UK Interior Design Bureau. You will find some of my entries include links to full articles on UK domains.
Melburnienne is my nom de plume. To my friends I'm Naomi.
